Each second-level colleges:

In order to expand international cooperation and exchange and to set up high-level international education platform for our students, and according to Joint Project Agreement of Chongqing University of Technology & Engineering College, Yamaguchi University to carry out a joint dual-degree training project, we plan to select some postgraduates to go to Yamaguchi University in April, 2014 to receive dual-degree postgraduate studies. Students are going to study one and half year in Chongqing University of Technology, and one and half year in Yamaguchi University (Annex 1). If students meet all requirements to receive the degree, they can obtain degrees of both universities. This project was launched in 2009 and two postgraduates have participated in this project and have obtained master’s degree of Yamaguchi University.

This select will be arranged by school. Welcome active participation of full-time postgraduates of engineering majors. The details of this project are as follows:

II.    Application Requirements

1. 2012 and 2013 full-time postgraduates majoring in engineering,

2. Having a good ideological political quality and sound mind and body,

3. Language requirement: Score report of any English qualification exam including TOEIC, TOEFL and IELTS will be accepted.

IV. Application Procedure:

1. Deadline for application: November 18th, 2013

2. Submit application: Before 5 p.m. on November 18th (Monday), applicants who meet all the requirements above must submit Application Form for students of Chongqing University of Technology Going Broad to Communicate andStudy (Annex 2) to International Students Administration Division, International Exchange (Opposite of No.233 bus station in campus ).

3. Campus Screening:  

International Exchange will conduct qualifications examinations of applicants with Graduate Office according to relevant regulations.

4. Application documents needed to go to Japan: After the candidates is selected and examined and approved by school, International Exchange and Graduate Office will assist applicants in finishing affairs as follows: filling Application for Transfer Student Admission to the Graduate School of Science and Engineering Yamaguchi University(Annex 3) and submitting it, writing the research plan, paying the application fee and sending relevant documents to Yamaguchi University to screening. V. Others

When the screening results is announced, Yamaguchi University will sent successful applicants admission letters. Both Chongqing University of Technology and Yamaguchi University will help successful applicants to get their passports, visas and other follow-up formalities. A separate notice will be issued by the International Exchange.
