Native English Speaker

Bachelor Degree or above with either a TEFL/TESOL/CELTA Certificate or 2-year Teaching Experience.

Under the age of 60

Foreign Teachers at CQUT work 200 Teaching Hours (45 minutes) per semester in the form of:

• In-classroom Courses (class size is usually within 40),
• English Conversation (Office Hour), chatting with students with topic(s) decided by both the teacher and the students (class size is about 10,)
• English Corner,
• 10.Lecture (once every semester if required), and
• English Activities.

Note:

• One Teaching Hour is 45-minute in-classroom teaching;
• One English Corner is considered as 3 teaching hours;
• One Lecture is considered as 5 teaching hours;
• One English Activity is considered as 2 teaching hours.

“No Criminal Record” Certification: one official certification from authority of home country.

PHSYSICAL EXAMINATION RECORD FOR FOREIGNER (done in a public hospital with hospital stamps on photo and signature page)

Proof of two-year teaching experience

For accompanying family members, besides documents of No.2, and No. 10, family relation certification by Chinese Embassy or consulate is needed.
