On November 13, 2021, the English-language journal CAAI Transactions on Intelligence Technology (CAAI TRIT), co-sponsored by the Chinese Society of Artificial Intelligence and Chongqing University of Technology, was officially included in the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE), which marks a major breakthrough in the development of school journal cooperation. All articles published by CAAI TRIT since its inception in 2016 can be found on the Web of Science and will be measured for their first impact factor in 2022.

SCIE is one of the four major journal repositories of the core collection on Web of Science. It has strict journal selection criteria and is one of the world's most academically influential high-quality journals. Only journals included by SCIE or SSCI are known to have high impact factors.
