Recently, Prof. Chenguang Lai's team in the School of Vehicle Engineering has made significant progress in the development of an innovative ground transportation Aero-train, and the related research work was published on February 14, 2023 with the title "Aeroacoustic Control Mechanism on Near-wall-wing of Aero-train Based on Plasma Jet" in Physics of Fluids, an internationally recognized journal in the field of fluid mechanics, and the paper was selected as a Featured Work and highlighted on the home page of Physics of Fluids. The work was also highlighted in an exclusive interview by the American Institute of Physics “AIP Scilight” under the title "Plasma reduces aeroacoustical noise of Aero-trains".
